2010 Inaugural eye to eye banquet
The event not only raised much needed funds for our athletes but recognised their significant achievements, we also had the opportunity to say thankyou to our supporters.
We had 150 guests participate in a quality event, the vibe was great starting with pre dinner drinks on the 15th floor roof top balcony of the Crowne Plaza.
The success of the night was due to the presence of all of our guests. We had representation from great long term supporters such as the AMP Foundation, MBA Financial Strategists and Woolworths together with exciting new supporters including Guide Dogs SA/NT and Hames Sharley, a leading architectural firm.
We are growing our fundraising capacity rapidly thanks to having great ambassadors, South Australia’s Peter Carey and Western Australia’s Barry Cable who we appreciate being here tonight.
We exist to finance recreation and sport and associated projects to ensure blind and vision impaired people of all ages have opportunities to fulfil their dreams. Our 150 guests were made more aware of the Blind Sporting Council’s work through attending the Eye to Eye Masked Banquet. Everyone was a part of achieving the dreams of these special blind and vision impaired people.
We at the Blind Sporting Council thank you sincerely.
